Meet Our Practitioners

Erin Jorgenson

Founder & CEO

Erin Jorgenson, the visionary founder and CEO of The Denver Hive, created this sacred space with a mission to inspire personal growth, spiritual connection, and holistic well-being. With a lifelong passion for metaphysical practices and a deep understanding of the mind-body-spirit connection, Erin envisioned a place where individuals could reconnect with their authentic selves and explore their soul’s purpose in a nurturing community.

Drawing from Erin's background in nutrition and herbal counseling, spiritual mentoring and holistic healing, The Denver Hive was founded as more than a wellness center—it is a sanctuary for transformation. Through thoughtful curation of services like Reiki, crystal healing, massage, acupuncture  and intuitive readings, and the integration of community events, retreats, and an inspiring apothecary, Erin ensures that every aspect of The Denver Hive resonates with intention and care.

When not at the spa, Erin can be found exploring the world with her two sons and their menagerie of animals in Morrison, Colorado, probably with her nose in a book

Through The Denver Hive, Erin continues to bring her vision to life, creating a space where people can thrive, connect, and discover the magic within themselves.

Julia McWilliams

Esthetician

Julia is a licensed esthetician and graduate of the School of Botanical and Medical Aesthetics. She is a member of Associated Skin Care Professionals and a professional retailer for Sorella Apothecary. Having grown up in Colorado, Julia is particularly skilled at helping clients nourish and protect their skin through every season. She loves to focus on increasing skin immunity and helping identify the proper means of exfoliation for every skin type. With a background in herbalism, Julia takes a holistic approach to skincare, combining education and relaxation to help you attain your healthiest skin. She offers not just an exceptional treatment experience, but also loves to share education on practical tips and techniques to maintain and nurture your skin long after you leave the treatment room.

Andrea Shinn

COO

Raised in Boulder, Andrea began her journey towards spirituality and health as a teenager, attempting to diagnose and treat an auto immune disorder with all the fad diets and spiritual trends of the day. It would not be until she was into her 20s that she would get some answers about her health, which would ultimately set her on the path that she is on now.

With a degree in Women’s Studies, a certification as a yoga teacher and as a holistic health coach, and having now returned to school to study exercise science and nutrition, she attempts to deconstruct the intersections of oppressive forces that interact with our quests for daily spiritual and physical wellness. Utilizing a feminist lens, Andrea will be leading the charge with classes related to current world events, community resources, and unlearning the lessons we have been taught regarding individualism vs community care.

Carla Gibbs

Massage Therapist & Yoga Instructor

Carla is from Omaha, Nebraska but she has spent many years traveling the world and brings an earthy, grounded energy to both her offerings of massage and yoga. Carla began Massage Therapy through Restorative Yoga, which she has been teaching since 2016. Restorative Yoga is a slow and gentle practice of surrendering to gravity through long-held poses laying down and using a variety of props. Carla likes to give mini massages/adjustments to students as they relax and connect to breath and body in her classes. Her Massage Therapy style is intuitive and therapeutic with a Deep Tissue / Swedish foundation, while incorporating mobility and stretching techniques. She is excited to have you in yoga class and/or on the massage table! Some of Carla’s favorites include dark chocolate, tattoos, time outdoors (especially hot springs), Beyoncé, Billy Strings, ginger honey tea, traveling, watching Survivor and loving on any pup that wants the cuddles

Evening

Massage Therapist

A 2019 graduate of the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado, my massage style is characterized by its deeply relaxing and intentional quality. My touch is deliberate, and I often employ a slow-burn pressure to effectively engage with the nervous system, promoting profound calm and restoration. I am proficient in a range of modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. My primary goal is to help you achieve greater ease of movement and well-being in your daily life. Massage therapy has personally fostered a deeper connection between my own body and mind, and I am passionate about facilitating a similar experience for you on your healing journey.
Outside of my practice, you might find me enjoying live music and getting jiggy with friends at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Natsu Murakami-Weckbach

Massage Therapist

My journey as a massage therapist started with a family member who was born with abnormality in the lumbar spine. Chronic back pain affected his ability to enjoy his life to the fullest and it affected the whole family. I decided to go to the school to learn how to massage so that I might be able to help reduce the pain, then I just fell in love with it. The job became my purpose and my mission ever since then and after 13 years I still love it everyday. I've been actively working as a licensed massage therapist with many massage companies, small local businesses, and my own business in a small town in Wyoming with many local farmers and ranchers.  Since I grew up in Japan, where a holistic approach of Eastern medicine is deeply embedded in the culture, I incorporate the philosophy of Eastern medicine combined with Western massage technique.

Operations and Apothecary Director

Brittany Acosta

Brittany Acosta, also known as Huehuexochitl (Way-way So-chee), is an Alchemical Hypnosis and Curanderismo Practitioner devoted to the art of inner transmutation and ancestral medicine. Her practice bridges subconscious transformation with earth-based ritual, guiding clients through the process of turning the lead of limiting beliefs, imprinting, and patterned behaviors into the gold of their Divine Creative Potential and Self-Knowing.
Her work is deeply transformative, serving as a form of soul retrieval—gathering fragmented parts of the self and returning them to wholeness. Sessions take place within a sealed, sacred container, where clients are safely held and guided into the depths of their subconscious.

Through tools such as Platica, Limpia Rites, Alchemical Inner Journeys, and the support of Plant Spirit Medicine, feathers, smoke, and decrees, each offering becomes a ceremonial space of remembrance and reclamation. Clients often leave with customized herbal remedies or essences to support the continued integration of their process.
In addition to one-on-one work, Huehue offers workshops, community ceremonies, and group classes. She also serves as a guide for seekers called to walk the ancestral path—supporting immersive learning with wisdom keepers and elders in Teotihuacan, Mexico, rooted in Tolteca cosmology, traditional medicine, and ceremonial life.
